City Hall remains safe and sturdy
Koronadal city hall remained safe and sturdy. This assurance made by City Engineer Ruel Tianchon to the city employees and the public due to the apprehension as to the structural integrity of the building due to a recent series of strong quakes.
To relieve the anxiety, Tianchon has advised anyone to check the integrity of the building which the very first to consider is the huge cracks found in the wall, beam, and post. The official explained that these signs could speak the condition of the structure. Tianchon said further that based on their inspection conducted, the team has not seen major break formation except only for small cracked lines in the wall which currently under repair.
