Stranded Koronadaleños to return through Bulig Balik Koronadal Program
Koronadal residents who are stuck from different areas in the country and abroad can now be assisted by the city government to return home through Bulig Balik Koronadal Program, a repatriation effort led by the City of Koronadal Investment and Promotions Center (CKIPC).
As of date, more than 2,000 returnees from Cebu, Manila, Ilo-ilo, Clark, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro have contacted the said office to express intent for their return.
CKIPC Manager Elric Batilaran says that returnees and their families in Koronadal should cooperate to comply with the requirements and follow protocols for their safe return.
Once a returnee contacts the CKIPC office, they will compile the list and forward it to the Provincial Government, which arranges the flights directly with the airline.
Home quarantine arrangements are checked and inspected by the City Health Office and Bulig Koronadal Ad Hoc Team; barangay quarantine facilities and isolation facilities are also provided by the city government.
The City Architect’s office has also prepared the amenities for the identified isolation quarters in the city in case of emerging COVID-19 patients.
