Koronadal city, a safe place to live

October 7, 2024

The Koronadal City Police Station or KCPS under the supervision of PLtcol Hoover T Antonio, Chief of Police and with the help of all force multipliers continues to provide the highest security to the city and its constituents. As a testament to their unwavering resolve to serve the people of Koronadal, KCPS has deployed their personnel into different key areas within the 27 barangays in the city in order to provide maximum security both day and night time.

According to the data presented by Antonio during the regular Monday flag raising ceremony last September 23, 2024, during the period of January to September 2024, KCPS has conducted a total of 28 anti-illegal drugs operations which led to the arrest of multiple individuals and confiscation of more than 500 grams of illegal drugs, 23 anti-loose firearms operations which led to the arrest of 8 individuals and seizure of 31 firearms and 1 explosive and 66 manhunt operations which led to the arrest of 102 individuals.

These valiant efforts have placed KCPS as the top performing police station among all component cities within the region. According to the results of the monthly Unit Performance Evaluation Report or UPER conducted by PNP Regional Office XII, KCPS has taken the first place seven (7) times out of eight monthly evaluation. These statistics only signify the undying efforts of our uniformed personnel to maintain the safety of the city and its constituents. Despite the level of measures KCPS is implementing, our police personnel strongly encourage the public to be vigilant and supportive to the plans and programs of the PNP as the safety and security of our city is everybody’s concern.
