3rd Gintong Negosyo Awards, appreciation to the business community
The city government of Koronadal under the dynamic leadership of city Mayor Atty. Eliordo U. Ogena gives importance and appreciation to the vital role that the business sector is playing in the city’s exponential economic growth. During the culmination activity of the city’s 24th Charter Anniversary and Negosyo Festival, the 3rd Gintong Negosyo Awards was celebrated with the purpose of giving recognition to businesses that have thrived and shown exemplary resilience despite the challenges of time.
The awards night was attended by the city officials headed by Mayor Ogena himself along with the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the department heads. In the business sector, among the attendees were the owners of food and restaurant businesses, business tycoons from South Cotabato Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated, representatives from the Board of Investments or BOI and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs.
Among the recognitions given were the awards in Lifetime Achievement, Gintong Negosyo, Matatag na Negosyo, Dakilang Negosyo, Makabagong Negosyo, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise and Early Bird. In their messages, the business owners extended their gratitude to the City Government for its undying support to the business sector not only to the big and established businesses but also to the small and developing ones.
City Legal Officer and Festival Director Atty. Christy Joy S. Sollesta in her message emphasized that the city’s thriving economy is a result of the harmonious relationship and mutual support between the city government and the business community. Atty. Sollesta also extended her appreciation to the people behind the successful celebration of the 24th Charter Anniversary and Negosyo Festival.
The celebration concluded with a dazzling fireworks display which also served as a symbol of the successful conclusion of the city’s 24th Charter Anniversary and Negosyo Festival.
