Sitios and puroks star in BEP 2021
For the first time, sitios and puroks of the city’s 27 barangays starred in Barangay Empowerment Program (BEP) 2021.
Apart from choosing the best performing barangay, there was also a contest for the best purok/sitios in each barangay which was also awarded as one of the highlights of the activities at the opening of the City of Koronadal’s 82nd Founding Anniversary and Hinugyaw Festival.
In his speech, Mayor Eliordo U. Ogena recognized the importance and substantial contribution of every purok/sitio leader and its community to hasten the work of barangay. The Mayor is also proud of the accomplishment of the entire community, wherein the city government gives high regard to the significance of the said barangay units.
