Handel knows that her heart belongs in public service
โ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐จ ๐ ๐ก๐๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐๐๐จ๐จ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ข๐, ๐ ๐๐ข ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฎ ๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐จ๐ช๐๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐จ, a๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ข๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐จ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ก๐ฅ ๐ข๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ฎ ๐จ๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐๐โ this was the statement of City Councilor Handel Dee Cadellino-Cubillo in the program โTingog sang Pagsanyogโ.
According to Cubillo, determination and a positive mindset is a big help in life especially in politics. Even before she decided to run as City Councilor, Handel was already experienced public servant at the very young age.
As a student, she was a part of the Central Board of Student (CBS) or known now as Supreme Student Government (SSG) in Notre Dame of Sienna School of Marbel. At the age of 15, Handel enters to public service as Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman in Barangay General Paulino Santos.
Handel knows that politics is a big responsibility but thereโs something on it โna babalik-balikan ko, I have still the determination to continue, and my support system is strong as it isโ, Cubillo uttered.
As a person who wants to have a title in the family and through the people who surrounds her, she decided to take Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (BSMT). While studying for her course in Davao City, and being the SK Chairman here in Koronadal, she frankly said that it is a challenge for her to attend the session for the SK, but she understands that it is part of the job, and she is grateful to the members who have supported her since she entered the public service.
Handel credits her father, former Councilor Rogelio Cadellino, as an inspiration and teacher in public service. She stated that her family is eager to entertain Koronadal residents. She also shared that even when she is not present, her father and mother support her in her efforts to serve the people.
When asked what keeps her to continue serving as a City Councilor of Koronadal during her guesting on the said program, she replied that it is with-in her heart and passion to serve that keeps her wanting to serve back.
With a strong goal to contribute whatโs good for the people of Koronadal Cubillo saidโ, hangga’t kaya ko at may suporta ng ibang council, himuon ko para sa katawhanโ.
She also promised to continue what she started, a clean and equal service for the good of all.
Through her passion and willingness to serve her fellow Koronadaleรฑos, Handel decided to run for the second term to continue her purpose for its people. โ gusto ko ipadayon ang mga serbisyo nga naumpisahan ko kag naumpisahan man sang tatay koโ, she added.
Now, as she begins her second term, her focus is not only on providing services and ordinances for only one sector only, but will benefit various sectors in the city.

For the ordinance to be successful, Hon. Handel do public forum for their concerns โAlways listen to the concerns or problems of the people, because of their grievances you will know what are the needs of the people. That is your basis in doing an effective ordinanceโ, Handel shares the importance of the public voice.
Handel is looking forward for the second term and eager to start another year in service.
Whilst, Councilor Cubillo expressed that she did not expect that she got a total of 44,033 votes for her second term but she is very grateful to the people who continue to trust and support her.
