Koronadal CRO gains 4 New Awards
In the recent 33rd Civil Registry Month awarding ceremony with the theme: “PSA @ 10: Providing Efficient and Effective Civil Registration and Vital Statistics through Digital Transformation,” the Koronadal City Registry Office (CRO) received four (4) new awards for the year 2022.
The LCRO Awards is an annual recognition given by the Philippine Statistic Authority (PSA) – Office of the Civil Registrar to LCROs in the registration of vital events.
The city bagged 1st place in the “Kasalang Bayan/Barangay Category”. Koronadal also got the Perfect Score in “Timely Submission of Civil Registry Documents” category.
Along with the participation in the various categories, fun events for the cities and municipalities LCROs such as the Civil Registration Quiz Show, the Poster and Slogan-making Contest, and others have been created.
From 4th place last 2021, the city rose to 3rd place for the Most Outstanding Local Civil Registrar Office (LCRO) in Provincial Level.
The selection of the Outstanding LCROs was based on the ratings in terms of activities undertaken during the period January to December 2022.
Furthermore, City Mayor Atty. Eliordo Ogena and City Civil Registrar Perla Quidilla gradually accepted the award for being 4th place in the ‘Most Outstanding LCRO’ category in the entire SOCCSKSARGEN region. They guarantee that the local government will work harder to give the Koronadaleños proper services.
Among the top list are the Municipality of Polomolok on the 1st place, Tacurong City on the 2nd spot, Surallah at 3rd rank, and President Quirino at 5th place.
Through the LCRO awards, PSA aims to inspire and motivate everyone to be involved, and to actively participate in all CRVS initiatives, and to be able to improve the delivery of services to the Filipino people.
The plaque and certificate of recognition were awarded last February 28, 2023, in Paraiso Verde, City of Koronadal.
